Think about what it means to be a black sheep.

An idea that sparked in 2021, the collective was born in 2025.

Black Sheep is a collective consisting of artists DHM and Jose. Some of our current goals are operating from a point of counter culture, delivering social commentary, and focusing on experimentation within art and fashion. The group really works as a vision at both of our influences, work, and thoughts.

The name actually sparked through a number of conversations held at FT as well as a concept for a stuffed animal (Foreshadowing? Look out for that). Long before we had our first collaboration there has always been conversations of working together.

We’ve both operated as people within the art industry without really being in the art industry for a number of different reasons, which led us to realizing that we both have the skills and knowledge to create and operate within our own worlds.

There is no need to run to the culture because we are the culture.
